I can't say anything about the food, as I only got coffee. The coffee tastes really good and the price / performance ratio is completely okay. In addition, a cozy shop almost like a coffee house. Not seen like this at a self-service bakery. I like to look back when I'm in Bochum.

Backwerk is a very pleasant place where you can consume products at affordable prices. The comfort of the customers has been considered by putting comfort in the foreground. I especially recommend the hot chocolate. You can choose your variety and size for your drinks and get them as self-service.

Great branch over two floors! Unfortunately there is no possibility for strollers or wheelchair users to get up. Ambience great but unfortunately we had to wait a long time until what was available below.

A really nice baked product. There are always freshly squeezed chilled juices and fresh salads. The location in the middle of the city is very good. When the weather is right, you can also sit outside. I particularly like the cocoa.

One of the staff here is a nightmare! I visited this place few weeks back with one of my indian friends. We ordered coffee and while leaving i took a picture of the place as it has a beautiful interior. One of the staff members (an old thin lady with short hair and spectacles) came near me and started yelling at me for clickig picture of the wall. She said how dare I click pictures without taking her permission. I said sorry, it’s a cafe and i didnt think it was wrong to click pictures here. She said to me- U mannerless non-german! I swear I was about to lodge an official complaint against this lady for making racist comments, but I decided to not spoil my day. This behavior is NOT accepted in anyway. Tell your staff to be polite and behave well with the customers. I am never visiting this place again. Here is the picture i clicked-

The open space concept with the glass roof and the modern furnishings as well as the very friendly staff gave us a really comfortable feeling and we are thrilled. We have never seen such a horny pastry! More of that!!! 👌🏻😊👍🏻

I am absolutely thrilled with how beautiful a pastry can be. Styled with chic furniture and colors, two-story with open gallery under a glass roof and so on. The food etc. is chain usual. For a quick breakfast on the way or the lunch break well suited.

The ambience is very nice. The selection was just fine. Unfortunately, the salad does not seem to be washed. I had 3 animals on my salad, although the rolls were fresh in the display.

A wide variety of products ranging from vegan to non-veg. Fresh and cheap. A quick snack-bite options for the travellers, students or office-going persons.

Wow! One of the biggest and most modern ones I know in Germany! Great job! You have a wide variety of products to choose from!
